Dual study program "Industrial Engineering"

Hardly any other study program is as versatile as the dual study program in industrial engineering. This is because it combines the economic and legal content of the business administration program with the technical and scientific content of the engineering program.
In business administration, finance and accounting, marketing and controlling are among the most important components. For example, you are able to calculate and optimize costs for a production in advance. In the engineering concentration, mechanical engineering, supply engineering, electrical engineering and civil engineering are on the curriculum. The program can even be completed with an IT focus.
And this is where you have the biggest advantage over pure business people: Optimizing production costs is many times easier if you know how this very production runs technically. You can choose from a wide variety of subject combinations during your studies. The focus of your studies depends on the cooperation between the university and the company. Of course, you will not only be at the university during your dual studies, but will also work in the company from the very beginning. The advantage is obvious. While full-time students are often surprised by the so-called practical shock when they start their careers, you already have both feet firmly planted in the working world.

• Good to very good university entrance qualification
• Confident knowledge of English
• Affinity for numbers and technology
• Strong communication skills
• Hands-on mentality

Study duration: Duration of studies: 7 semesters

Location:

• Practical part at HanseYachts AG in Greifswald (13 weeks/half-year)
• Theoretical part at NORDAKADEMIE in Elmshorn (10 weeks/half-year)
