The surprise of the coming sailing season is in the making - the moulds for the new Dehler 46 are almost ready
The new Dehler 46 will take the intensity of your sailing summer 2014 to a whole new level. With a dynamic character that's guaranteed to be an instant hit and an appearance which leaves nothing to be desired, you will be bowled over by the new Dehler 46. Precise lines and a muscular appearance define the new Dehler standard.
It's a typical Dehler at the very first glance: sporty, high-quality and forward-looking. But inside, the boat hides a wealth of technology and design, which combine to make sailing and life on board even more enjoyable. The new Dehler 46 combines sporty sailing characteristics with a comfortable cruiser.
The moulds of the new model are now almost complete. While the first hull is already underway, the high-precision five axis milling machine is being put to good use and working hard to complete the mould for the deck innerliner.
With the new Dehler 46, Dehler is setting trends once again and presents sophisticated detail solutions true to the brand's 50-year tradition of success, such as the carbon-reinforced floor assembly. The drawing clearly shows how the loads occurring from the hull and the rig are distributed over the entire boat via the high-strength carbon fibres.
You can look forward to more pictures showing the creation of an icon over the coming weeks, then its gets really exciting – it's almost time to start production!
