CORONA VIRUS – IMPORTANT UPDATE
We take our promise serious to update you with all news regarding the coronavirus:
All four HanseYachts production sites are still busy producing. Many thanks at this point to our employees and to our suppliers for your commitment. Even in France, where the highest restrictions have been imposed by the government, the production is still running.
Currently, all deliveries are still on time and there are no delays so far. Not a single corona case is known at HanseYachts. We even managed to get a last delivery of wood from Italy this week, so that we now have material in stock physically until the end of June for our own carpentry. We are now sold out until the end of June, so of course we are happy to accept new orders for the summer.
But we can already foresee that we can no longer let today's very high production speed continue as planned. We will continue to produce, but with slower belts. Unfortunately, all of the factories lack staff, mainly because the schools remain closed and children need to be looked after, or because the borders to Poland have been closed and cross-border workers can no longer get to work.
We are currently analyzing how strongly this will affect the delivery times of the individual orders, but we assume that there will not be serious delays for each individual ship. We sincerely hope that you understand this in today's situation. For HanseYachts AG, however, this means that some of the boats that have already been sold, will be completed after the 1st of July, the revenue therefore will fall into the next financial year. Unfortunately, for this reason we had to withdraw the forecasts for the current financial year.
Now that the material supply for Italian parts has been secured, we are currently going through further important material chains, because in other countries outside of Italy and China there are now also factory closures and supply shortages. If there is a change in the situation, we will of course notify you immediately.
