Description and scope of the data processing
We use Google Analytics on our website to analyse your surfing behaviour. The software places a cookie on your computer (see the section on cookies above). The following data is stored if individual pages of our website are visited:
- Three bytes of the IP address of the user’s client system
- The website visited
- The website from which the user came to the website now being visited (referrer)
- Sub-pages that are visited from the website being visited
- Time spent on the website
- Frequency of visits to the website
- Origin (country and town)
- Operating system
- Device (PC, tablet PC or smartphone)
- Screen resolution
- Traffic sources
- Retrieval of specific URLs
- Interactions with the website (clicks)
The Google Analytics software is a service offered by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (Google). All data is (generally) transmitted to Google servers in the US and stored there for processing.
In order to guarantee that European data protection law is complied with, Google has signed the Privacy Shield Framework
We have set up Google Analytics so that the IP addresses is not stored in full, but with the last byte of the IP address masked. This means that the IP address counts as anonymised and there is no possibility of identifying you through it.
Collecting the specified data allows us and the other clients of Google’s advertising services to display advertisements to you that might match your interests.
The stored data is used by Google among other things in order to analyse and compile reports on the usage behaviour on our website.
We are able to use these services on the one hand through a direct connection and, on the other, by using the “Google Tag Manager”.
Legal basis for the data processing
The legal basis for processing the personal data of the user is provided by Article 6(1) f) GDPR.
Purpose of the data processing
The processing of your personal data enables us to analyse surfing behaviour. Thanks to the analysis of the data acquired, we are able to compile information about the use of the individual elements of our website. This helps us to constantly improve the commercial operation of our website and its user-friendly design, but also to configure target group-specific advertising. These purposes are also based on our legitimate interests in processing the data pursuant to Article 6(1) f) GDPR. Your interest in the protection of your personal data is taken into satisfactory consideration by the anonymisation of your IP address.
Duration of storage
We have set up the Google services in such a way that the data is erased after 26 months, as we no longer need this data for analysis and processing purposes after that time,
Opt-out and rectification option
