The Moody 54 Decksaloon - Moody Buoys - becomes second in 75th Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race 2019 (division PHS)
The regatta is sailed off Australia between Sydney and Hobart, has a length of 628 nautical miles and is considered one of the most difficult off shore regattas worldwide. Trevor Richardson has be joined on Moody Buoys in the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race by fellow RGYC sailors Brenton Carnell, Chris and Sue Beretta with an excellent second place. It was the fourth Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race Richardson has competed in after sailing in the 2014, 2016 and 2018. “There was also another Moody 54 Decksaloon in the race which succeeded well, the sister ship Blue Water Tracks from the Royal Brighton Yacht Club. It was good to have some local competition,” Richardson said. Congratulations from Greifswald to the Moody Buoys team!
