Internships
We offer internships at HanseYachts AG to pupils as part of school careers programmes. The aim of these placements is to give some idea of what you could expect if you worked at a specific department of the company.
We generally offer work placements in our warehouse, production facility or administrative offices.
Graduate
We offer you the opportunity of a student internship in our company in Greifswald or professional support in writing your thesis. Combine practice and theory perfectly and write your bachelor's or master's thesis in cooperation with HanseYachts AG. You are welcome to suggest a topic or subject area yourself. In addition to your supervisor at the university, you will also receive a mentor in our company.
Bachelor or Master thesis in Carpentry
Location: Greifswald DE
Industry: Boat Building
Description: HanseYachts AG seeks a full time employee in material control to help strengthen our team in Greifswald, Germany.
Responsibilities:
- Data recording and analysis for the evaluation of manufacturing and assembly processes in the joinery and furniture assembly.
- Supporting the design of work processes according to lean management principles
- Taking over small projects with the aim of increasing productivity
- Fault management in production
- Economic feasibility studies and feasibility studies for investment decisions for the machinery or the reorganization of production processes
- Development and updating of work instructions and work plans
Educational requirements:
- Degree in engineering (production technology; wood technology or similar)
Experience requirements:
- Industrial engineering or a comparable course of study or training as a wood technician (m/f/d)
Desired Skills:
- High level of commitment and strong analytical skills
- Good MS Office skills
- 3D-CAD experience desirable
- Knowledge of CNC machining or programming desirable
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of lean principles desirable
- Structured, independent way of working and ability to work in a team
- Good knowledge of English
