Baltic 500 Race

Test of strength in class comparison

Twelve Dehler 30 one design yachts registered for the Baltic 500 Race

The course of the Baltic 500 Race, one of the most demanding non-stop double-handed offshore regattas, leads across the Baltic Sea and the Danish islands of the Kattegat for almost 500 nautical miles. Changeable weather, open stretches, narrow current sections and busy areas demand the full attention of the two-man crews. Ideal conditions for a showdown of the Dehler 30 one design yachts. A total of twelve teams from Germany, Sweden and Denmark will compete in the one design class in 2021. Among them are Morten Bogacki on “Humboldt” (GER 025), Oliver Denzer on “Tschaika” (GER 032) and Uwe Barthel on “Joint Venture” (GER 028). With a total of 75 places, the regatta is already fully booked.

In mid-May, it will become clear which sailors will win the regatta and thus move up in the international class rankings.

May the best win!
